Wow, I normally get 3 to 4 signups per day do to advertising and word of mouth, but with the exception of one fraud order ( my 2nd ever!) , I havent had a signup in four days.

Youch. Good thing I run a debt free company :)

At any rate this business, like any, has cycles and patience will pay off.

We had the same issue around a month ago. Things went dead for about a week (normally 4 a day). Not sure what caused it, it was really weird.

We ran a super special for our existing clients, emailed all of them and advertised a $199 per year deal on a package we normally charge over $400 for. We had 35 signups that day!

Sometimes you just need to think outside the square a little, use the resources you have available to get the business flowing again.

We probably jumped the gun a little, cos the next week we were getting average 6 signups per day. We could have waited and not run our special, but that extra $7,000 sure came in handy :D

1 to 2 accounts per day is good fishing for Aussie Bob. :D

There have been days with no signups, there have been days with more singups than I can count on fingers... I wouldn't worry about it if you usually get a nice stream of customers. Singups seem to fluctuate from time to time.

Debt free is the only way to be :)

Thanks to the Cyberwings implosion I've managed to fill up 2 servers in 2 weeks and get caught with my pants down because I didn't have the new servers ready to go.

Had to quit setting up new signups this morning and concentrate on getting the server online so we wouldn't overload the existing server.

We've gone from 5-15 a day to 40-60 per day the last couple weeks. Sure are some gunshy folks buying hosting right now.

Same here, I didn't had a sign up in the last 5 days :(

Usually I get 2-3 daily sign ups, but this week has been pretty dead.

Ditto for me. I typically get 2 or 3 a day, but nothing for the last 2 3 days.

Oh well... that's the cyclical nature of business, I guess. It's nice to be able to "catch up" and spend some time improving the business and thinking about things. Sometimes it gets pretty hectic with support and managing the staff, etc..

Yeah, I've found that too. You just go with the flow and relax. :) I'm always thinking where my business will be in 1 year from now, 2 years, 5 years etc. It's a long term vision and commitment. :)

Been pretty strong around ~4 signups per day over the past few weeks, then we had 2 days with 1 signup I believe, totally out of the blue. Signups are going strong again now ;)

usually 2 signups per day here, but during the last week of the month, sales will boost up to 4-6 per day, last month is like that and this month also, a bit weird... clients like to signup at the end of the month?

Yep we have also been having a bit of a dry spell the last couple of weeks, not a major problem though because most of our hosting has been paid for yearly, so no major bills to worry about
