I'm currently a reseller through Hostway. I have been with them for ages--and at one point they were great. But I woke up one day and realized their reseller program has really gone down hill. They've slowly sort of worked the value out of being a reseller and I'm really paying top dollar for lack-luster technical support and quality of service.
In searching for a new reseller hosting program I have had some trouble finding a solid package that also offers MS SharePoint and hosted MS Exchange. Unlike design firms, I am a solo freelance designer and consequently I don't have a large account--not more than 20 domains--so I would need a program friendly to this business size.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Maybe a solid reseller program combined with these services doesn't exist?
Thanks for all your opinions and recommendations in advance!

I'm not sure, perhaps mailstreet.com offers a reseller program. Check exchangemymail.com also.

I know so little of windows hosting/resellers, the only name that I can think of is Intermedia.net. I've never tried them or know much about them other then a friend who mentioned them to me a few years back so do your research!
Good luck

Thanks for you input. Yes, it appears Intermedia offers a decent solution for reselling only Exchange and SharePoint services. Hostway, incidentally does not include these services in any sort of 'reseller pricing.' At first glance, Intermedia's regular web hosting prices for reselling are just a tad better than that of Hostway's. But I haven't really investigated the nickel & diming done on account setup fees and added services.
If anyone else has any input I'd love to hear your thoughts. Also I be glad to post results of my research for the perfect reseller with MS SharePoint & Exchange!

Hi
Groupspark.com is the best reseller program apparently for Exchange. They are shortly introducing integration in to Helm4 control panel (due out this week).
I met both groupspark and Intermedia at HostingCon this year, group spark service seemed allot better, and better priced.

@CyberHostPro
Nice info! I was actually thinking of making the HostingCon this year but it didn't work out. What did you like about the groupspark service better?
zigner and nnyan, I've also been doing a fair amount of research in the Exchange/SharePoint area as well. My consulting group is looking for a solution, albeit not to resell, but here are some of the providers out there that we found, some of whom I am fairly sure offering reselling opportunities: HostLabs (they told me over the phone that they do), Rackspace (I believe in my talks with them that they do as well), ASP-One (pretty sure they do, they're a devision of Apptix, along with MailStreet and Mi8, but ASP-One currently offers the best value I think of any of the three), ExchangeMyMail (not sure if they offer reselling) and 123Together.com (again, not sure).
One thing I can say is that I had a rather underwhelming chat with one of Intermedia's sales reps, and needless to say I don't think we'll be doing any business with them. As a general rule I would be wary of any provider pushing Exchange 2007 at this point. Over the course of talking to several major providers, it seems the general consensus on 2007 is that it's not yet stable enough to be used for mission-critical situations.
Best of luck, and I'd also be interested to hear from others who have experience with Exchange/SharePoint hosts.

At this point I think it would be wise to sell exchange 2007 instead of 2003. I've been reselling through Intermedia for about two months and haven't had any service issues. Let me knnow who you decide to go with.

I cannot vouch for Intermedia's reseller hosting services, but I can vouch for their level of technical support. Whenever we have a problem with our Intermedia VOIP account, we are always able to get a quick response.
EDIT: I just realized that this thread was started almost half a year ago. I hope you've found hosting since then ;)
