Hi all,

Can someone tell me how I can accept Google Checkout and PayPal? Is this possible in one script? If so, which? My plans are very simple.

Thank you. Please let me know if this is not the right forum (seemed more appropriate than programming). :agree:

We offer both payment gateways which are built into WHMCS.

I thought one of the rules of Google Checkout was that you couldn't use multiple processors? Am I wrong?

Laws brings up a good point on the *legal* side regarding whether such usage would represent a breach of agreement or not.

On the *technical* side of things, it shouldn't be a problem as most e-commerce applications support multiple payment provider methods.

I don't see why they wouldn't let you use any other processor, and from looking at their policies it appears that they don't expect you to only use google checkout (though I could be quite wrong, especially seeing as I didn't see a place where it actually said anything about it, it was just the way things were worded, that is something you will want to email google about if you can't find it in their database)

And as a few others have said, it shouldn't be a problem using both of them on the techincal side of things. Most billing control panels allow for multiple processors.

If google checkout in fact doesn't let you and you want to use PayPal, you may want to consider another processor such as 2checkout or authorize.net.

Also keep in mind that Google Checkout has not fully complied with the rules and regulations set forth by PCI DSS. At this time, it might not be a good idea to have them on your site until they are compliant.

As far as integration, just have it post to the proper checkout form. What control panel are you using? Most should have Paypal and Google Checkout integrated

Google Checkout can be used alongside other processors. When one applies to use the Google Checkout badge in their AdWords campaigns, they do a site inspection. Having multiple processors does not stop them from approving the site.
