how do you find and delete an email message form pine. i have a message with i virus that i want to delete from my server.

Open up pine by typing "pine" (without the quotes) at the command line. Then use the up-down arrow keys to highlight the Folder List line or just type an l. This will bring you to the screen that shows all of your folders, INBOX should be highlighted. If not use the arrow keys to highlight it then hit Enter. Now you should be at the INBOX screen and able to see all of the messages that are in your INBOX. Using the arrow keys again scroll down till the message you want to delete is highlighted. Type d and you will see something at the bottom like "Message marked for deletion". Type q to quit pine and answer yes to the prompts asking you if you want to quit pine and if you want to delete the messages
