I have been hosting on godaddy and never once seen a problem like this before. I registered aaronkinder.com a few days ago and parked it on godaddy's servers and have set it up for google apps.

When I go to dnsstuff.com and do an a record lookup it reports aaronkinder.com doesn't exist. Godaddy claims it does, yet I cannot see it on the internet.

I had it forwarding to itself for a while as I was explained to do by google in order for the domain to go to google servers even if you did not type the www.aaronkinder.com it would go to aaronkinder.com etc...

I have asked godaddy and they say it is a dns issue and they don't do custom dns support. I can't believe google gives them any business by recommending them when I signed for google apps.

This is a link to a picture of my dns setup straight off my godaddy total dns page. http://amsterdamserver.net/download.php?id=5C1FD0661

They told me they did a dns zone refresh on my domain close to 8 hours ago now however I have my dns servers set on my computer to 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 so I get fairly fast up-to-date domain name resolutions.

UPDATE: they just did another dns zone refresh and it suddenly works again.

I don't understand why Godaddy is saying that they need to refresh zones... All they need to do is provide the registry with a list of your custom nameservers.

Then, the two zones that need to be up to date are the registry, and those of your customer nameservers.
