Hello,

The other night when I was installing red hat 7.3 on another machine I noticed when it came time to partition the drive, that it could use the free space available and not format my drive. I guess my question is would I be able to install RedHat and keep Windows on it? Would Lilo or Grub detect windows and add it as an option in the boot loader when I start the system?

Its not that simple (but I haven't tried doing this type thing in yrs)
I found it better to have linux and windows on 2 sep boxes (lost all HD's info way to many times)
but if your going to use some kind of "Boot Loader" system.

PowerQuest's has the best loader in my opinion.
