I found out today that the Webserve servers are very unstable. I was speaking with a support rep and he indicated that this is the way they solve problems on their server:
- Wait for a problem to occur due to the overloaded servers
- Once a problem occurs(and takes down a website) they then try to identify the problem
- Once the problem is identified their support then tries to resolve and prevent against it from reoccurring
He also mentioned that they have acquired a lot of new resellers accounts over the past year and it is causing the MySQL server to become unstable.
Other providers try to be proactive and prevent against any problems before they occur. It looks like Webserve doesn't practice this policy.
I currently use an account on Webserve and it goes down every other day. I will be switching now that I have found this out.
