Hello Everyone.
I need your help with my business name. It’s very difficult to find a good dot COM name as lots of them are taken.
Should my name have the work "host or Hosting" ?
I have registered few names.
Dimensionhost.com
Esshost.com ( Enterprise system solutions)
This following one is not a little strange but you can tell me what you think.
Want2host.com

Many people will suggest you don't need the word 'host' in your name, while others will of course :)
Dimensionhost sounds okay, while I'm not very keen on mixing numbers with letters.

Umm, he dosen't even own it yet, He's not selling anything...

an odd thing with domain names I'm hesitant in mentioning.
We've considered changing our name because it's a damn hard thing to pronounce (ah-cash-ick incidently) After a long time looking through deleteddomains.com and whois.net I settled on two. It took me about 2 minutes to come up with 'alternatives'
datarune.com > data ruin
everhost.com > never host
I personally thought they were excellent names (and probably still available ;) but it's one of those things that can easily become the most remembered thing about the company should something (God forbid) ever go wrong.
Now you're sure this is well off topic and it is.. my point is, your name is pretty important. Of the ones suggested I think dimensionhost is the best one. I shudder the moment I see anything with a number in it. esshost doesn't peak my interest at all.

I agree. Dimensionhost.com gets my vote.
