Anyone in the W bar tonight? Just got back from a great steak at Lawrys and trying to decide If I should go up to 33rd?

Looks like everyone must of been somewhere away from the internet. :crazy:

Everyone was at our rooftop BBQ..

We were there for a while too but had to try out Lawrys steakhouse which is awsome... 2 drinks included was too mean to tempt us to stay longer... cop out! :)

The BBQ was nice, but the $6 beers were a bit steep - especially since they weren't really cold. Too many bugs flying around too - there were swarms everywhere.

Wish I'd known about Lawry's ahead of time, sounds like fun!

Prices were steep but people kept handing us their tickets as they left and I think there were even leftovers

Best was when I bought a bottle of wine or at least I thought I had, paid $7 and the then I picked up the wine and walked off to our table - ooops that was the price of a glass but I am used to paying about $4 in Argentina at the moment so thought hmm $7 I suppose that would be right for this venue LMAO

Offered to make up the difference when I found out but hey said not to worry about it which I thought was great :)

I LOVE Lawrys, ANY City that has one I got to it without fail. Chicago, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

LOL. I am glad you enjoyed it. How did it compare to proper UK meat. Matt Russell from WHB always busts my *%l$s about coming to england and having proper UK beef. Hear that Matt R!! He says itw was GREAT!!

steaks at Gibsons were the best I've ever had...and still I was only able to eat half.

I had the porterhouse there, it wasn't as great as I expected. But I also had steak at shulas in the sheraton NOW that was GOOD steak.

I had the 24oz at shulas and it was decent, mine was slightly overcooked.

Now the fillet I had at the Signature Room, that was top notch, possibly one of the best pieces of meat I've ever had.

Nothing like a home cooked Roast Beef on a Sunday....

I dont like to compare a Steak dinner to a Sunday roast... both very different but just as nice :)
