Or they already have the systems as leftovers, as he said. I wouldn't call $173 a very big markup, and you are pricing Celerons where the Ameen appears to be offering P3's.

Do you have any evidence that this is a "kid trying to sale un-existing hardware" or is it your imagination?

Opps just now caught that ;) let me revise that real quick, the p3 cpu will be even cheaper.

It's my defraction :eek: No i don't have proof, but 99% of a chance its a yes. Why? Because people are seeing other people sale things with this bisinuess structure, and want to grab onto the band wagon. How about we ask for a picture of 10 servers.:D That will clearify, and certainly when we get the ugh, if ugh huh, ugh yea me have no way of getting a pic on cump comp.:eek:

Why would anyone finance 33 servers and only put 23 to use???

Frankly, you'd want to build enough to use, and maybe a couple extra, not 10....

Hey, We'r just trying to get rid of some servers here, as far as 5 `O Clock, I checked out that site and the Quote with your configuration came out to be $821.00, plus they'll charge about $100 to assemble, and you have to wait until they have all the parts in, because the CPU is a special order, and if you are getting a better price then that, then chances are the CPU will is an OEM, which has "30 Days" warrenty, after that you'r on your own. But hey, what do I know, I'm just a "KID" :)

and as far as a picture, I don't have that, but I will guarentee this, the day we recieve payment, we'll ship the server out....

to ProHacker, we're system Builders, this is what we do, some times we have 15-20 servers left over which are cancled orders by our clients; this is the first time I saw this site, thaught it might be a good place to get rid of them, but here, everyone's just.....well not every one...

nice offer, not taking sides as this does look plenty legit a company with toll free # and other more valid than alot of people have but i can see where you have only made 3 posts people are going to be skeptical.

Chargebacks are usually only a problem in the service industry... Where no property changes hands....

You can prove they got the server because they will have to sign for it when they get it...

So you have a recourse to them doing a chargeback...

And if this is legit, more power to ya and good luck..
I've built systems before, but we don't over build by 10-15.. And we get customers to sign contracts before we even buy the parts so the cancellation problem doesn't happen...

Mind you, I don't build for hosting, so thats a little differnt...

Guys, if I'm not mistaken, he is allowed to post whatever he wants, and in this particular forum he isn't supposed to be flammed.

If you have proof of something post it. If you are not sure, then keep your opinions to yourself. He never posted "what do you think".

If you have a better deal elsewhere, post a different message. I for one and getting tired of seeing everone get flammed for making a silly post.

I will ammend this. If you post a message that has unlimited or unmetered anywhere in the bandwidth section...then you get what you deserve.

Do you happen to have pictures of the servers? Also, what size power supplies?

I do not have a picture, the power supply is 200W

Didn't see this thread when I posted mine. I might be in for the same as Ameen. Probably because these other guys can't beat your price Ameen. I don't know, but it's no reason for immediately running someone down. Anyhow, it is a really good price.

I built 20 systems on contract for a local trucking company. At delivery they decided to only take 15. I could have made them take all 20. Did I? No. Fighting with them would be bad business. I sold the other 5 out of my shop. No big deal. So, it does happen from time to time.

I feel what you'r saying. But hey, if there's not one there to criticese, then where's the fun.............right....?
