Amalia 07-25-2007, 08:34 AM sounds intriguing!!! Pingdom 07-25-2007, 10:35 AM That does indeed sound cool, but a link would be appreciated... Now if we could only get brain-to-computer interfaces that would allow us to skip both mouse and keyboard... :) Fizzadar 07-25-2007, 12:37 PM I've heard of it too, saw it in the paper, no link :S Apparently it causes headaches though... jerett 07-25-2007, 02:02 PM Ignore that link jerett 07-25-2007, 02:09 PM Here is something : http://emotiv.com/2_0/2_1.htm Pingdom 07-26-2007, 08:02 AM Here is something : http://emotiv.com/2_0/2_1.htm Ah, yes, seen that one. There are at least a couple of different companies working on this kind of technology. Definitely interesting. I wonder what kind of input devices we will have 10-20 years into the future. This is already starting to look quite sci-fi. Biju 07-26-2007, 02:32 PM Sounds interesting. getintomotion 07-26-2007, 05:40 PM I saw something similar on the news awhile back except they had actually insert a chip into the brain. It was pretty neat. Thanks for sharing, this headset is new to me. Pingdom 07-27-2007, 04:03 AM I saw something similar on the news awhile back except they had actually insert a chip into the brain. Vex76 07-27-2007, 07:12 AM The s**t is gonna hit the fan if they start implanting chips into people's brains. juniperavenue 07-29-2007, 01:30 AM I'll just stick with my mouse :stickout: ES-Amar 07-29-2007, 04:36 PM I read a year ago that they were working on a security technology that used brain waves to enter passwords etc. All you have to do is think of a memeory and your brain emits a wave which is picked up and is unique to every human, this can be used to log in to almost anything (i.e. your bank etc.) Pingdom 07-30-2007, 08:38 AM I'll just stick with my mouse :stickout: If a chip in the brain is the alternative, that sounds like a pretty good plan... :) LTHost 07-31-2007, 07:15 PM Interesting stuff. Sounds like something I read about that would happen in the end times. dcpweb 08-04-2007, 06:21 PM Imaging and Social Technology - very cool Let me know what you think...
