Can anyone tell me which credit card processor is good? I need a good billing system to implement into my website.

Thanks everyone!

Is it easy to implement into my website? Kinda like having a mini amazon.com site without seeing the third party credit card processor?

I don't know which its the best, but please avoid CardService International as Merchant account provider as much as you can.
They are a real nightmare.

Worldpay is not "easy" but also not "hard" although it is very "good"!

I've been pretty happy with 2Checkout.com . Generally prompt payments, unless your business triples in one month like mine did. Then there is slight delay while they make sure that you are honest. Overall, I give them a 9 out of 10.

:D

Why should we avoid CardService International? They are huge!

Just get an account with Wells Fargo then and run it thru authorize.net

Maximiliam

They have my found freeze for more than 1 month, and this was the first month with them, communicate with their merchat account customer service its a real pain in the ass.

Support slow to non existant.
Can you believe that they requested me to fax them more than 600 invoices???

Really? We just got approved by them.. and yes it was a very slow process

Was it because of your chargeback ratio they required you to fax in everything? I heard they want less then 1%

I use revecom.com for my needs. They've been excellent so far.. no problems.

Do a search on the forums, but you'll find that there's an equal number of posts listing good and bad about the three major 3rd party processors around here:

revecom.com
2checkout.com
hostcharge.com

Cheers!

well, the 2 largest processors are first data, (western union) and nova.....the thing is though, you will have to process thru a gateway (verisign, a million others) as processors do not allow merchants access to their data base. so if i were you, i would shop for my gateway FIRST as thats who you will have to interface your purchase page thru....your gateway will give a list of who they are certified to process thru

Well, why not get a merchant account in your bussiness name and process it yourself  :D

Authorize.net + Modernbill is the best way to go + save lots of $$$
