I'm in need of a merchant account that will accept Australian dollars (as most of my payments will be made in $AU), among some of the other main ones. However, any payments made, whether $AU, $US, etc - the merchant must pay into my account in $AU, otherwise my bank will be hitting me with a $7 fee everytime a non Australian currency is payed into my account. Worldpay I know will do all this accept I don't know if I were to accept a $US payment that they'd convert and pay into my account in $AU. I hope there's someone out there who could possibly help me. Thanks.

Another option is Planet Payment. Their support for various currencies is outlined at http://www.planetpayment.com/currencies.cfm

If you can do with out merchant account...
then I think revecom supports it...
I am not sure

Thank you,

No.

Revecom allows you to convert money into your local currency, but all transactions are made in US dollars. Personally I find this better being here in Oz as the dollar rate is around 53c. So I make almost double locally. Of course I have a US fiance so it goes back into US dollars pretty quick *lol*

chaos,

Look up BC's email address or ICQ number through search ( or get Duster or Chicken to give it to you). He mentioned an AU solution a few months ago he uses. I think they are in Melbourne. Might be what you are looking for.

Worldpay can do exactly what you need.

You can accept in 5 different currencies and then they will deposit your money in the currency you dominate.

chaos -

You might want to check out CyberPay (http://www.cyberpay.com.au).

They only work with NAB's EFT lines, so you would need an NAB merchant account. I think they're based in Melbourne - it may be the one BC was talking about.

I'm not sure if that's the sort of thing you're after, but it's worth a look anyway.

Responded. Thanks to all who e-mailed me ;)

Lawrence, FYI, it wasn't CyberPay that I initially recommended - it was eMatters (http://www.ematters.com.au), a company based out of Sydney.
