I was amazed and so were my co-workers. Out of every combo from 0000.org to 9999.org, there are only 5 available dot-org's! Can you believe it?! Thanks to our friends at SJC we've been allowed to WHOIS the entire list without throttling (for those who've tried) and only came up with five stinkin' names!

But that's what makes them so rare, and here they are for FREE!

1596.ORG

1758.ORG

2129.ORG

4126.ORG

7381.ORG

There are only a few others out there, but they haven't expired 100% yet (deleted).

Actually, you can register them new. A month ago, I registered 150 4N.org domains with the numbers ending with "0". I then cancelled them (and paid $2 each as admin fee - as a total it costed me $300 to cancel those domains).

If you search for numbers after 7000 or 7500, you will find plenty (hundreds of them still available).

Yesterday, I checked the list again and found 7900.org (two 0s) and immediately I registered for it and will put it up on eBay for auction tonight.

Which registrar are you using? You may consider finding one which charges lower for that.

That was Godaddy. I cancelled several domains before without getting charged, but this time they charged me. What's not too professional on their part was that they charged me the $300 without telling me in the beginning. After the domains are cancelled, they told me if i want to get my $1300 refund, I have to pay $300. I have no choice but to give in.
