I just came across the mIRC chatroom and noticed that CyberWings is alive again. What fo you think?

I'm too satisfied with the hosting providers my sites are hosted at to want to go anywhere else. And even if that wasn't the case, Cyberwings would be the very last (well, 2nd last, C1 Host ;)) place I'd go.

If I were to EVER go with them, I'd have to see some major improvements, as at the moment they've lost all my trust.

Its good if they will be back. I already have 3 hosting accounds there.
My accounds are just for testing purposes and Cyberwings is ok for such things.

This company is just a ... joke! I will call myself stupid if being fooled the first time.. Second time?!? i'll call myself an idiot!

Are you sure that Cyberwings is back? I just checked my sites that are hosted on them and none are active. :(

*I am taking this as a sign as this may not have been an intentinal con but a cruddy bizness plan that spiraled out of control. A real (or good) con artist woulda never used his real name to start the company etc. In his home town. ta boot.

*I would say its a Fact that his PR stinks to high heaven.

*But could they possibly be truely trying to fix the situation? why reappear when there are no Federal Law enforcement looking for you (yet) it would be EASY to split town and go to Canada From Maine

*So what the guy has been involved in a few "get rich quick" schemes. ( See fleece and Diet threds) Maybe he aint the brightest bulb in the pack and its possible his closet is filled with "Late night knife sets" and "Ab Machines"
He coulda just been a victim of those.

*would I do business with them again? Not Now!

Within a day or two, a new "biggest sale ever" will undoutedly begin again.

Charlatans fool many the first go around, then blame the victims for failure, in an atempt to extend the con. The first time shame on Shawn, the second shame on you.

Cyberpixels is sending me emails about the updates as if I was one of their clients. I have never signed up with them. Is this something I should be worrying about? (not to mention she's saying I'm on the server Torgo?)

Exactly. Watch for more crazy sales around the time bills are due. And watch for this to happen again very soon. Also, I'm sure LightShip and Rackshack are going to be demanding money out of Shawn ASAP.

Rackshack quite frankly is the 500 pound gorilla, dont' want them after me for non payment, that's for sure! I'm unfamiliar with LightShip but they are holding a bit of collateral I hear.

So is LS still holding CW's servers? What are those in RS?

Umm..seems like most people will leave CyberWings. Any more comments?
