Hello all,

I had no luck in installing PerlDesk ticket System on our Plesk equiped server. Issues between Plesk and Perldesk doesn't seem to resolve...

Is there any other good Helpdesk/Ticket system out there? If yes what are they?

I don't think perldesk should be dependant on the control panel. software. Make sure you configured your mySQL database in the conf.pl, permissions are correct, you have MIME:tools installed, etc... um, well, Good luck. Can you explain exactly what the problem is?

Everything was installed yet it won't work on a plesk rpm installation...

but if someone has instruction on how to install it on Plesk PSA 2.5 RPM then I'm willing to try again because the instructions for the standard PSA 2.5 don't work on RPM installations.

If you are not concerning about the pricing,you may try use PHP support desk ( http://www.phpsupportdesk.com ) which you must pay for certain amount to own it.


So far we don't have any problem dealing with this application.

One that I use and like is DeskPro

It's a little more expensive than some of the others, but has rock solid support and we haven't run into any problems using it. :)

I had perldesk w/plesk setup just fine at one time, my problem is I would like to be able to integrate them together so that our customers would beable to login using there plesk control panel username and passwd rather than having to create a new account. Any Ideas? If not, any helpdesk systems that are allready configured for this?
