Example : my car is white, my house ( exterior) is painted with colors that were common in the 19the century, I prefer earth tones for myself. I spent some time back in the 90's researching about color and behavior. Anybody in marketing and advertising must ( should ) have a solid knowledge of color and the effects on the mind ( certain natural colors cause certain reactions ). Then there are National Colors, society colors..... greens, reds, golds, silvers, purple all have different effects on people. Example : Green is a very important color, It also happens to be be the most sensitive color to the human eye ( the human eye can dectect the movement of green at a farther distance than any other color) . Americans respond simular to northern Asians within a specific color grouping of green, but not simular at all with southern asians. like this and many other things color has to play an important part of anyones choices. Why a white car? I drive rather fast, on average the white car will rarely get pulled over.
