View Full Version : AdSence Denied me!
Hey all!
AdSence keeps denying my page for ads for some reason. They claim they dont allow sites that are under construction.....I'm not under construction!
Are there any alternatives with the same concept?
Thanks guys!
Sorry for posting in wrong spot. Thanks for moving.
foobic 07-11-2007, 09:33 PM If it's the site in your profile it times out for me. Adsense won't accept a site that's not publicly available - what would be the point? :)
I'm not sure why Google is saying your site is under construction when it isn't.
If your site looks like one of those sites made specifically for PPC arbitrage, then there's a good chance they didn't accept it for that reason. It probably just needs more content.
If you provide the URL, I'm sure you will get some better responses.

I know there isn't much there, but that all I want on the site.
fusiongt 07-12-2007, 02:10 AM You won't be making any money off a site like that anyway so don't get too down.
Jamie Harrop 07-12-2007, 03:45 AM You may want to try Yahoo Publisher Network, Carp. http://publisher.yahoo.com/
Friend07 07-12-2007, 03:58 AM Google AdSense displays text and image ads that are precisely targeted to your site content. Since your site (www.outsideaddy.com (http://www.outsideaddy.com/)) has no content, they probably decided that your site is under construction.

Chances are good they denied you because there's not enough content on the site to even know what kind of ads to show. Which is also probably why the 'under construction' reason was used.
One other thing to remember.
Google AdSense doesn't require you to submit every site you put ads on. Do you have a blog? A generic website? Submit those sites. Once ANY site you own is approved, just build code and put it on the new site.
Read the FAQ at AdSense and they tell you straight out they don't want every site submitted. once you're approved you can use that code on any site as long as it doesn't break the ToS
ImageLeet 07-12-2007, 07:40 AM your site just dont have any content or links, create a blog or forums and approve it from adsense.

His advice is on the money. I did the same thing with some of my sites. Created a generic blog and then submitted it to google for approval. Once I was approved, I put that code on all of my sites.
(Still haven't made more then $20 though)

If he can't make it into Google Adsense, he'll have zero chance to make it into YPN.
mesobob 07-12-2007, 12:58 PM YPN only accepts applications from US citizens?
SEV3N 07-12-2007, 01:21 PM Hm, I use to think that someone actually visits the website. They should say that it doesn't have enough content or any targeting users, not under construction... I guess a robot (script) checks the links from the page to see if there are any other internal pages. After that maybe someone will visit it.

Yep, it needs more content. FYI, it's very difficult to monetize a site like that.

Elaborate please.

Hardly, since the costs are pretty much 0. As aforesaid, submit a different site and stick code on that one. You could also try Yahoo if you're in the USA or Clicksor (pretty bad really) or bidvertiser.
fastnoc 07-12-2007, 06:07 PM I think the point is that you're not going to get a lot of revenue from a site like that. Monetizing in this case meaning actually making money.
I agree it's not going to a. get a lot of traffic based on the lack of info and b. people won't be staying there long enough to notice the ads really.
It's just not a site that will generate regular visitors or much interest because there's virtually nothing there.
My advice would be to add more utilities there for people to use. A ping, traceroute, whois, etc. just other utilities. Make it usefull. Scripts that do this are numerous and most free.
infinite_in 07-13-2007, 01:51 AM Try to apply again after adding some new content.
