I heard that there were some dedicated server companies that offered sustained bandwidth for their servers, like 1MB/S with no limits on gigs/month transferred. Has anyone heard of any companies? If so, could you refer me to some in the west coast?

well Atrivo has packages with so many gigs then they have packages with mbit/s

Atrivo icq # - 23531098

and i am not sure on the packages with mbit/s but here are some of the server type offerings they have.

I've seen nothing but the same posts about Atrivo from you ever since you got a server there, I know you're probably happy and feel good, but there no need to keep posting the same thing again and again... are you sure you dont work for them.. as it seems its the only thing you post here..

No-one else posts specs and prices on this section, they refer people to business WEBSITES... I'm sure if you feel so good, you can do the same rather than advertising for Atrivo in this section...

:D well since they dont have a site i figure rather than them going ugh how do i find out how much so much so and so is etc.. i just post that which is what i was sent

and you better bet i like the server @ Atrivo , i mean if i was a customer of yours would'nt you like me telling others about you if i liked your services?

nope dont work there have a server there

and its not even compareable to FDC so yea you can say i'm happy :)

and peter the customer who is using it loves it too :)

Maybe zd get discount from them if help promote for them.

since i do not have ICQ, i will ask some q here

1- what are the software installed for windows platfrom?

2- is there any hidden FEES

3- how much time they are online per day to give support

4- how many years in this field they are?

1.) dont know i have linux
2.) nope no hidden fee's i know of
3.) online quite a bit unless they are at the datacenter then you have his cell phone # so you can call whenever
4.) not sure how long in the field

Actually You dont
They have UBERSMITH as there billing system so they r very systametic. On top of that he give u his cell Text messanger etc if there is any issue. Data center is called Exchangecolo in San Francisco California. Has Multiple GIG E Cogent connection. And Level 3 as backup. As far as cc i dont think any one will be stupid enough to give it on ICQ
Also has Remote reboot. He told me he Use to have computer business before. But i do agree that u never know what can happen. Thats one of the reason i put the speed test there. So after 2-3 months if it ever drop i can come here and ask for another speed test.

Wanted to give some information regarding Atrivo. Atrivo has been in business for the past 6 years. I personally owned a computer store and the design firm Atrivo. Over the years we have had many high profile customers such as UCSF, Brenden Theatres, Cybon, Stanford, etc. Thourout the years with the design came the hosting aspect and other such related services.

So over the past 2 years we have been building out our colo facility, and now the business has done better than expected so we are closing doors on the design and computer store. We are trying to get a colo web page up ASAP.
