Regarding the confusion about dual processors and dual cores, let me try to simplify it. These servers have two processors in them with their own heat-sinks and fans. The older P4 and Xeon processors had Hyper-threading which makes each chip appear to the OS as having two separate processors.
Some of the newest Intel products actually have two cores on each chip.
