Today it seems that 2CheckOut isn't loading properly on my side. I didn't get any new payments either. However recurring bills still work.

Anybody else?

I read a post just like this on another forums just yesterday. But, they haven't figured out why (on that forum) yet. If they get an answer ill post it up.

Everything is working fine here... payments, reports and the Supplier Login area.

Now that I think of it, the website actually seems a bit faster than usual! :)

Payments and recurring all working now. But the supplier area still ain't loading for me now. It was working about 12 hours ago (after my first post of this thread).

Let me hope this is not a global issue.

Is 2co slow now?
Try to make order from your site by 2checkout,
for me they almost not work,
and last 2 days almost no orders by 2co...

A bit slow but still works fine here.

Previously it was a problem with the connection to my area. I had to use my servers in US to access their website and do all the management there. At that time the website wasn't loading using my connection or anywhere near here.

2checkout has launced a brand new checkout routine and a new payment metode in the last few weeks which might explain why some might have expirienced problems in this periode.

As a side note, the new checkout have unecessary many pages and lacks in help icons/descriptions. These 2 facts makes it unecessary slow and complicated for the customers to complete.

Personally i find this strange since it should be in 2checkout's best interest to make the checkout process as fast and easy as possible since i guess they derive most of their income from their processing fees.

If process time out, the merchant may end up losing a customer.

If you would, please check it again.
Over the past weekend, the checkout process was revamped and the transaction times have been greatly reduced.

It loads ok fast now, but the process itself is way to long.

The total number of pages/steps the customer have to go through is way to many.

The checkout process should be a maximum of 2 pages/steps for the customer to complete. (As its stands now its 4++)

Also there are no explanation for the cvv filed, there should definetly be a short explanation with a link to a pop-up with a screenshot indicating where the cvv is located.

I have been contacted by several of my ecommerce clients who are using 2checkout about this issue, close to all have started to look for alternatives since their completed sales have dropped after the new routine was launched.

2checkout provides a much needed service for international vendors who cant/have difficulty getting such services elswere.

But as it stands now its not a choice of preference but out of lack of choices.

If 2checkout could get the checkout process shortened, streamlined and better explained then they might be a prefered choice for both domestic and international vendors.

It was down for the past week but I think the main problem is the www2 entry did not work which is why people thought it was down. As this is the link you send in your welcome email to login.
