I narrowed my search down to a few webhosts. Please let me know of your experience or knowledge with the following hosts:

I need RealVideo & Windows Media capability (http stream OK) a lot of space (1-3GB) and bandwidth (35-50GB) at a cheap price and that is why I have chose these finalists.

I have been burned more than I will admit by webhosts, and I don't want to get burned again.

Any comments, reccomendations, opinions are welcome!

I am fairly new here and am not familiar with the ones you have looked at but I was a CW victim and I found a great host in dot5hosting.com
........Great support......affordable prices.........and they will help you choose a package that will work for you or design a custom package.................

My site was up in hours not days and the speed is quite good too.

I chose them after researching here and on another forum....Very good reviews......and they were correct..........

Why do people feel it nessary to promote another company that wasn't even asked about. It seems like you plug dot5 every chance you get. Even when it wasn't even asked for. Great- you love them. However, do you need to plug them in threads that have nothing to do with them? Read the post.

I think the first thing you should do is determine if the control panel used matters to you

www.hostmatix.com

all use Ensim, whereas

www.wisehosting.net

uses CPanel.

Then, you should get in contact with them. Get a feel for their company. Make sure they seem like a company that will be in business a year from now.

I know! Dot5 doesn't even have plans that offer 35GB+, which is what cd_memory asked for. Sigh.

sparrow8 knows that it was a lame attempt to advertise. IMO, because of that type of communcation, / advertisment, I will not even think of going there. IMO :D

Sparrow8, you're one happy customer. Spontaneous praise and glory on the WHT forum is a rarity. Constant, unending praise and glory from an unbiased source is next to unheard of.

I would like to apologize if I overstepped somewhere.........I think I am just so happy to be away from Cyberwings and actually be hosted by someone that seems to care.............that I have jumped into an area where I am way over my head..............As I told you all when I first came here...........I am just a grandmother with hobbies..........and I have a daughter in web design.....( I do have 6 sites )
but in future I will only offer an opinion from now on when asked..............

Do not choose Wisehosting.net. We have had many problems with them.
