Hi,

signed up for the free plan with hostcharge two days ago and faxed the required papers back to them, but no response.

Submitted an email to them after two days and got a reply that they never got a fax from me, however my fax still shows a log that says that it was delivered ok.

So, my question is, does anyone signed up with them and got their account set up? And more important, have you got any money sent from business that you have the rights to?

Just curious...

ps. I'm located outside the US in case that woudl be a matter...

Hi,

well, my fax log says ok as well as my emails sent to them but the fact remains, none but hostcharge has failed to get both my faxes and my emails. So, my conclusion still remains that they are a fraud or something close to it :(

I do know that they are trust-worthy, only joined them last month - they might be haveing system problems. They had HUGE problems also a few months ago, but they were very good at getting every cent to their customers. Look it up with a search here - I did before I joined them.

I think they're busy working on the new features of the MCC, and will reply to your faxes soon. =)

Hello,

Firstly, addressing a company as a scam is not very appropriate. It really hurts the reputation of any company no matter what line of business they are in.

Secondly, if you would contact one of us directly (Me or Trevor or any other contacts) you can get a prompt resolution rather than posting a thread on WHT about us- since WHT is not a support forum for HostCharge.com.

Please contact me directly or give us a call to have this matter sorted out. Incase we didnt get your fax due to the fax problem we had please refax your documents to our new fax number (1-305-418-7471).

All the best,
Asher.

I signed up with Hostcharge a few days ago. My first fax didn't make it through despite my fax log saying it did (remember - international fax lines are quite horrible so it could have been corrupted), so after communicating with Trevor I sent the fax again and the account was setup within hours.

My first impressions of HostCharge were (and still are) quite good - emails were replied to quickly, and once the fax went through the account was setup promptly.

I'll most likely commence processing transactions with HostCharge on Monday.

Regards,
Shaun.

Exactly due to these fax problems have we gotten a new fax line.

Hostcharge are not a scam - they are a good company with legitimate contact points.

I removed this section of my post as it may be offensive *cough*

i can only second that - Hostcharge is NOT a scam, they DO respond emails/ICQ's etc.

Furthermore, they are process of renewing their admin/MCC and I for one look very much forward to that, as its a bit troublesome right now.

We are working together closely with HostCharge in billing, processing thousands though them every month in dedicated servers and are planning to use them for our reseller plan processing as well, for 6-figure ranges.

Take my word, they're a great company to work with and definately not a scam :)

Sorry for causing hard feelings but I had to ask/post as I begun to worry when neither my emails or fax got responded to. When you submit your credit card info and never hear back at least I get worried, especially when the website says "set up within hours".

I do know that this forum is not a support forum for hostcharge but when my email don't get responded to, well then again I had to post to see if I was the only one affected and what experiences others have with hostcharge.

Anyway, my fax has now been found and taken care off and account is set up after 3 days, little odd that it just happened after my post here :)

I'll also edit my first post :)

Asher, you also might consider using a service (free) like http://www.j2.com/free/free.asp (fax to email).

If you want to know about a company; just ask. But there is no reason to infer that they are a scam in the thread title.

Thanks for the suggestion Chicken, I'll look into that and get a backup service just in case. :)
