so i get this call today... pick it up.... guess who its from? godaddy! :eek:

i think. (i hope there wasnt payment troubles for my domains i bought the other day) as i answer it.

the entire subject of the call was. (im just calling to give you a warm welcome as a new godaddy customer. and to let you know if there is ANYTHING we can do for you, give us a call! 24/7/365) :eek:

to me it doesnt make any sense. but on the other hand i have a small feeling they were hiding the true reason to call. (my bank probably made them call to verify the order and make sure it wasnt fraudulent.)

anyone else have a freaky phone call from godaddy?

They called me the first time I ordered a bunch of domains from them. Just the first time though, and not since.

Not new, they do it for almost everyone. They never miss a chance in cases of your new account setup, dropping domains, canceling services. This is business strategy.
