Hey All

It's a newb question, but I wanted your opinion. Along with hosting, I'm designing a customer's site as well.

How do I send a contract to this client? I don't want to send it as a word attachment since he could modify and send it back to me.

I want to send this by contract, how do you guys send out contracts?

I only have adobe acrobat reader, so I can't create a pdt.

Let me know!
Cheers
Ray

You can get a free PDF creator at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ . It is pretty simple as long as you follow directions.

Normally most contracts we send out are via email in PDF form. However some clients request certified mail or fax.

Hi, well, you can use OpenOffice ( http://www.openoffice.org ), the text editor has an option to save the file into pdf format. Good luck.

I use eDocPrinter (http://www.iteksoft.com/) to print right to PDF. I use this for invoices and contracts. Then I have them fax executed contracts back to me.

Do note that the trial version adds a horrible watermark if the document is longer than 2 pages.

Snail mail - stuff it in an envelope, toss a stamp on there, and put it in your mailbox

I like using EchoSign (http://www.echosign.com). They let you upload word files and pdf's too.

can anyone tell me where to obtain webdesign contract templates.

If you're interested I could send you the one I use; you'd just need to customize it to your own requirements.

Greetings!

You may wish to visit creativelatitude.com. They have a free download section which includes some contracts and other useful documents. We also use some of these documents ourselves.

We wish you well.
