I just what to give people a heads up about a BAD hosting experience. I start one of those cheap hosting plans with [url]www.edatarack.com (http://www.edatarack.com) and let just say you get what you pay for. I had the account open for about two months now and have had nothing but troubles. Then they “upgraded” their servers and now all of the cgi doesn’t work anymore. They said I’d have to rewrite the script to work with their new servers. Here’s a quick run down of some of the problems I’ve had:
I had other customers’ contacts and settings, in my web based email.
The server went down almost like clock work.
All the cgi stopped working, dmb hash problem.
Online help and help desk useless.
No REAL live person, phone number, or address.
Too good to be true I guess.

You said it yourself. You get what you pay for!

In the beggining it may not seem like such a bad deal. But I do agree in the end, you always get what you pay for. I think that rule stands for anything in life.

Web rover, if you want real support, go with lightningservers.net, ask anybody about them they will definitely have nothing but praise.

Yes, Dixie Systems is really a good deal. They have several different plans to choose from. If all you want is space for a personal site they have that too. But I bought a reseller plan.
AND there is a special running until the end of July.. Look in the Advertising forum for the web hosting co.s i think you will see the ad posted for the July Special. IF you do decide to go with Dixie mentioned the WHT July special when you sign up. Stop at their web site and see if anything suits you. www.dixiesys.com
The people running it are really "user friendly" and they do have a active support forum, a "TAN help ticket system", Irc #help channel and so forth. I dont work for Dixie Systems, dont get paid, and Im not receiving any free stuff or incentives for recommending them. I just think they do a good job.
