View Full Version : who knows ATB?
Kinivin 02-22-2001, 12:01 AM So basically I was bored as hell and decided to make
my first post on this forum to be the most insignifant
collection of words you ever read. I am merely wasting
precious seconds of your life by asking you this
question and obliging you to read this paragraph. Behold
the question:
Who here is a fan of ATB?

Ha! if you think that's the most insignificant thing we've read here, you really haven't been here long! At least, clearly, you haven't read the advertising forum.
MattF 02-22-2001, 06:49 AM ATB. Rings a bell. 9 Till I Come.
-Edward- 02-22-2001, 01:45 PM i have 9pm till i come as my ringtone on my phone. But ATB were a one hit wonder dance group.
Kinivin 02-25-2001, 09:51 PM Aww come on, one hit wonder?? I dont think ATB can technically be considered one hit wonder since the 1st album was realeased i believe in 1999 or 98, and his new album just got released (a few months ago). If you ever listen to his 1st album, you will be surprised to realized that every song on the album is amazing. And the 2nd album although quite different from 1st, you will probably appreciate even more, considering it works on many more levels. Trance people will enjoy it, and so will people who consider ATB a one hit wonder..
well its good to know that at least 2 people have heard of him.
I encourage all of you to illegally download his music starting with following tracks:
1) ATB - Till I Come
2) ATB - Don't Stop
3) ATB - The Summer
4) ATB - The Fields of Love (ft york)
5) ATB - Love Will Find You (Ft Heather Nova)
or just get 1st album , and listen to the whole thing straight through. then get 2nd album and make sweet musical love to it.
MarkP 02-25-2001, 10:04 PM 'Til I come was the nuts. But it got a bit boring after that and there wasn't really any point re-making 'Killer' :-)
-Edward- 02-26-2001, 10:23 AM those other songs werent as succesful.
Chicken 02-26-2001, 10:58 AM I thought ATB was some hosting thing that I didn't know about, heh.

Same here.. :emlaugh:
-Edward- 02-26-2001, 11:42 AM Theyd prolly do a better job as a webhost than a dance group :)
Nicholas Brown 02-27-2001, 03:49 PM ATB Rocks - but Alice Deejay are far better
MattF 02-27-2001, 04:13 PM I could of seen Alice Deejay yesterday, ****!, £3 entry as well I think at the tiv.
-Edward- 02-27-2001, 05:17 PM One day Alice DeeJay is going to marry me :)
Kinivin 02-27-2001, 06:43 PM Alice Deejay is alright, but shes starting to lean more towards pop rather than trance, in my opinion.
Nicholas Brown, you have good taste, i approve of your existance.
Now let me use this example: Paul Oakenfold, Sasha and Digweed, Underworld, .. All of these are the top DJ's in the world, their albums have sold over a million albums and yet those of you that consider ATB a "one-hit wonder" most likely can not identify a single song of theirs which was a hit. You can not judge success by means of the American Pop charts , for there are wildly popular bands not found on this chart.
Calling ATB a one hit wonder would be like calling Phish, Radiohead or Bjork a one-hit wonder just because only a few of their songs hit the top of pop charts in US.
Thats all for now.

Thankyou :p
Nicholas Brown 02-27-2001, 06:59 PM I also Like Eminem, Steps *blush*, S-Club 7 (Some Hot Females in that band, especially Rachel), Alice Deejay, Alice Deejay, and erm, did I mention Alice Deejay?
I also like some older, crappier music, such as The Beautiful South - they come from my hometown - Kingston Upon Hull as I am a Brit! and darn proud of it too.
And if were talking about attractive women, need i say no more (Mellisa Joan Hart - Sabrina the Teenage Witch ;))
