It's been like that for QUITE A WHILE. You may find some dropping (in blocks) every once in a while though.

I can't even find a NNNN.net out of 10,000 combinations. I miss 1995.

no, I do not think they were taken - not from V to Z. In your text file, they are simply got cut off.

It's all there, I just checked the master list. They must all be taken. I'm running 000-ZZZ right now (com/net), which is over 100,000 domains.

I used database to filter the ones with "Q" and "V", then I took my pick from the result.

I got mqem.com (removed from the list since I registered it).

I maintain a list of domains at various auction houses (including godaddies $5 buy it now domains). It's searchable by LLLL (and you can even get specific and search for CVCV, CVVC, etc. )

search paramaters recognized are (must be caps, use lower case for specific characters):
C - Consonant
V = Vowel
L - Letter
N - Number
* - Any
