I just requested a transaction history in Paypal and went to bed. The next day I had about 50 emails in my mailbox from Paypal telling me my transaction history file has been created. I was surprised to see 50 emails but didn't think about it anymore. I logged in to Paypal and wanted to download my history. I realized that the file was much larger than it should be. After a few hundred MBs I stopped downloading because I knew that this couldn't be true and something had gone wrong. So I requested another, smaller history and now this stays on "processing" which means I can not get my transaction history. Of course I need to submit a tax declaration right now so I'm screwed : ( I still keep getting confirmations saying my history file has been created so this looks like my first request is in an infinite loop or something.

Does anyone else have problems with the transaction history feature ?

I Can get mine fine, might be worth you contacting paypal and asking if they know of any problems at their end.

I did just contact them but I know they are not going to reply...Instead they are going to send me a standard response giving instructions on how to create a CSV file completely ignoring my actual request as if they were unable to read. That's what they always do. BTW, if you insist on a reply to your actual request they will keep sending standard ******** : (

Well I hope this problem will solve itself. Otherwise I'm screwed because Paypal never fixes technical issues within half a year if it does not affect anyone but one person.

PayPal are renowned for the lack of fixes for technical issues, we have had a few problems with downloading reports, but seems to work now.
