I quite enjoyed Big Brother 1 last year, but this one was an insult. All it seemed that they did was sleep in until 2pm, get up, drink beer and once their BAC was high enough - start kissing anything that moved, not to mention Channel 10 aiming to make a quick dollar in any way they can - 55c to vote, ~$5 for the Big Brother ringtone/logo (if I remember correctly), etc. I watched about 4 episodes and that was enough for me. --Shaun PS: BAC = Blood Alcohol Content :) a:\ 07-20-2002, 10:17 AM Pretty much the same thing happened in BB3UK. Same here, they had a stupid thing called "The Directors Suite" where you paid for a day, week or the series - quite ridiculous. They did offer 30 minutes free, but it took 45 minutes to download the software - by the time the software downloaded, the 30 minutes was up. They did have a free camera that you could "move" (it was one of those cameras with the round lenses, they only showed a portion to create the illusion that you were "moving it") but the quality was shocking. Last year was better - the video streaming was 100% free and was quite satisfactory, even over modem but this year they decided to see if they could make even more money. --Shaun. How sad can you get....... I know Southern Star / Channel 10 Australia paid about AU$30 million for the rights to Big Brother 2 here in Australia. I'm not sure how much profit they made though. To make the matters worse they're starting a celebrity Big Brother tonight - I wonder how stupid that will be.
