They work fine with NS6 and IE5... if used properly, they can lead to some pretty cool effects. If used incorrectly, they can be just as annoying as real frames ;)

IFrames have all the problems of frames with less hassle. They still aren't properly indexed by SE's, they are not supported by all browsers, and they don't deprecate properly.

Most sites that use them are designer's sites.
