My company wants to start a forum and have a knwoledgebase. Where does one find the software/packages for this? I like this forum, so I think that this software would be good to get.
Anything I should take into accoung or be aware of, negative and positive?

This forum is powered by http://www.vbulletin.com. Is there a reason you posted this in the Cobalt forum? If not, I'll probably move this to the general forum, unless you're specifically after cobalt kb's or kb's that run well on Cobalts, etc.

Yes, I am interested in this for our RaQ's. I am interested in the forum and creating a knowledgebase for our customers.

BooBoo,
I'd just do a search on forum etc. here and you'll find lots and lots of discussion. My personal favorite is phpBB (www.phpbb.com), but I'm biased ;).
Any of the PHP/MySQL forums should run fine on a RaQ.

Thanks for the info! I am looking at both now.
ffeingol, what is the pricing on phpBB? I could not find it.
Any information about a knowledge base?

phpBB is only a discussion forum, not a knowledge base.
You won't find any pricing information, because phpBB is free :D. phpBB is one of many Open Source forums.

Thanks!
I am still looking for a knowledgebase package. Any ideas or suggestions? I did a search and did not find any info about knowledgebases.

Try www.hotscripts.com under the FAQ/Knowledgebase category.

I had it running in 5 minutes (filling it with knowledge takes a bit longer though :) )
