I'm looking for an hosting solution
to handle/park unlimited domains (< 500)
on a single account and WITHOUT extra setup nor
maintenance fees for each additional domain.

Basic requirements:
Uptime: Very good (> 99.99%)
Traffic needs: Not much needed
Space needs: Not much needed
Access Logs: Yes
PanelControl: Yes, if possible - for easy mng of account,
domains and logs/stats
No other specific needs
Price: Under $150.00 / Year!

Is there anything that may fit this?

Thanks for your help,
Carlos

Does each site need unique data or are you just resolving them to a common page? If you are just resolving them, you can probably get by with a Static IP account.

In my experience, most web hosts will not provide an easy way for you to do what you are seeking. However, you may be able to find a web host that will work out some sort of bulk deal on small accounts for the sites.

I do wonder why you need to be able to host so many websites for so little. Are you trying to provide some sort of free homepage system?

I think I would be interested in the same.

Purpose: Domain parking. Just to have my unused domains there, but still each one with it's own page that shows up when people type in the domain, you know...

Right now I have my domains parked with the company where I bought them, but their fee is a bit high (15$ / year) and I'm looking for cheaper.

It's still a while to go until they are due for renewal though.

Each site shall point to a specific page or directory,
but all to be handled through the same user/account,
no need for multiple users.

I believe most providers charge something like $5.00/year
per extra domain, because they have to performe some configuration manualy. Am I right?
I was looking for someway more automated, requiring reduced human intervention, and that could thus reduce the costs:
$5.00/year * 500 domains, leads to $2,500.00/year, which is just a fortune!

For that price you could get a low-end dedicated server. You got to look at the situation from a web host's perspective. A web host's main product is web site hosting for domains. By asking for the option of pointing hundreds of domains to a single account you are asking the host to sell you a large number of their key product for a tiny fraction of the market value.

No matter what they are selling, a company cannot make money if they give their product away. This is probably not the answer that you want, but this is my perspective.

...use a redirection script to redirect all other request to specific folders/pages.

If you do not want to incur additional costs, then you have to handle the DNS on your own. IF you go through your hosts to have all these resolve to one IP there is bound to be additional costs.

Sure, you can do that, but make sure you read the host's terms and conditions regarding redirection scripts and CPU usage. If the sites start to receive hits the redirection script might cause CPU usage problems on a shared account.

You might want to look at mydomain.com or a similar service to use their "stealth-redirection" feature. However, that will merely put the pages in frames and the page will load from your main domain.
