I am a web hosting reseller, does anyone know how is 1and1.com. Their packages look good. But still want to know your views and any experiences your had.

Check out more than one dedicated servers. Then you will be better able to judge the service and cost.

1and1 doesn't do "reseller" hosting. They have an affiliate program, but they don't offer traditional reseller opportunities or hosting plans.

You could go with a dedicated server from them and toss on a control panel and billing software.. But that's not where I would go first for servers...

As mentioned above you could get a dedicated server, but as you probably are just starting your business i would suggest you go for a regular reseller.

I've had both good times and bad times with 1and1, just as any person would. I would recommend them, as they have done nothing but grown these past few years.

Though you should keep looking for a better hosting provider.

Yes, if I remember correctly, they launched with a massive print advertising blitz a few years back (multi-page ads in WIRED etc.) offering 3 years of free hosting for all new signups. I guess that's one way to build a customer base........:D
