Hi,

I own HostOne in little old NZ.

We are looking at releasing a Master reseller account and i wanted to find our what other resellers would want from an account like this. Basically you have a standard reseller account in WHM, but you can also create resellers within your WHM account. No need to worry about reselling others packages, or getting a VPS/Dedicated.

So here are my questions and i would appreciate everyone giving me some answers and i will try to collate them and report back.

1. Whats your opinion on the idea.
2. Why have you taken this stance?
3. What attracted you to your current reseller provider?
4. Do you use billing software? e.g. WHMCS, Modernbil etc?

Awesome guys - i thank you all in advanced ;-)

Have a great weekend.

Cheers Guy

Are you thinking of using deasoft.com's WHMreseller?

It completely depends on how you plan on implementing it. If you are going to do some coding and figure out how to do it securely for yourself, that is fine. If you aren't, maybe you should stay clear.

Hi,

I just became a master reseller.

When I was shopping for a master reseller account WHMCS was an option but to be honest I ended up getting an account that did not have it as an option. I do have WHMCS since I could easily add a domain reseller account. I really did not need any other features WHMCS offers since I built my site using joomla. One thing I can say is that their support is great!

As far as WHMCReseller V2, It work fine but I have read alot of reveiws where people are having problems with it. To be fair though the developer seems to be very active in helping resolve their clients issues. I think you should do a little research and decide for yourself.

As a master reseller the most important issue to me is support! I try to resolve any issues myself and would rather resolve them myself if I can and would rather be told what the real issue is and how to resolve it. I've had simple questions that were not answered until I sent a cancellation notice or the person that did respond was not being very proactive in helping me with my concern.

Yes, offering a billing software, domain reseller account and maybe even ssl or a ssl reseller account would be attractive.

Hope this helps.
