How well does a 15 Day Trial period work out as advertising? I've tried everything to get shared hosting clients and I'm down to my last option.

Thanks,
Travis

15 day trials do work for people who are skeptical about the quality of hosting you do. It's a rather small majority of people considering.

If you are on your last option, you may want to consider switching over to offering free web hosting with paid package options. It's a helluva lot easier attracting people to free small packages and when they need more space or bandwidth they just upgrade their account.

Now if you go with a free web hosting solution, you will want to watch out for spammers and abusers, which can involve A LOT of work.

Get ready to open yourself up to lots of scammers/spammers. If you don't have anything other than a 15 day trial to offer and differentiate yourself from the rest then you need to rethink your plan. This is not a "if you build it, they will come" business.

How long have you been up and running? I have only seen on you on the boards recently and your site is fairly new. It can take months (6+) to ever even begin to get a nibble on your site from interested parties. You have to keep up the Word of Mouth and then as you get clients - give them quality service and get them talking about your site. It takes time. It's not a fly by nighter.

PS: Fly By Nighters --- Ummm I miss those ladies. ;)

Perhaps instead of a 15-day trial you try marketing to a different group, if you're at your last options. The Internet is very fast, but if you market locally, there are less Internet-savvy people, and Internet is the new wave. A lot of businesses don't have web sites, so if you offer something cheap and affordable that isn't too bad, I'm sure many will be open to the idea.

Agree on that. Always start locally in your area and get your town, city, state interested in you and then branch out from there. You would be surprised how fast your friends can spread the word about your services.

Maybe it would be better with somehing like 80% off your packages for the first month, this way you can get people trying it for a low cost and you wont get bother from spammers.
