Hi,

Just wondering if there is any payment solutions for customers in China paying for goods/services overseas. Bank wire transfer & Western Union fees are too expensive for the goods/service in question. ie $100>

Options for credit card holders & non-credit card holders if possible.

Thanks.

90% of Chinese people have a Chinese debit card, so you need to look for a provider that can accept Chinese debit cards, which is probably the safest to accept. I know iPS and Universal iPayment Ltd. from Hong Kong offers a solution for this, but I believe they only work directly with acquirers and PSP's.

Please note that accepting Chinese payment solutions will also mean offering Chinese support as the knowledge of the English language is below average.

Very popular credit card in Chinese region is JCB, however, not many people use it, only the upper class who are legible for applying for a credit card.

Maybe you can take a look at this Transact24 (http://www.transact24.com/)

And they accept UKash too.

Why not PayPal? It works in China too

By the way, the most popular payment processor in China is Alipay.com, but I have no idea how to create an account from overseas.

Thanks for those replies.

I think the iPS and Universal iPayment Ltd solution looks good but as I'm not an acquirer or PSP that counts me out.

With regards to Transact24 & PayPal, they are good too. But unfortunately not many customers - the ones we deal with anyway - are yet familiar with these companies, so don't feel confident using them.

I never considered Alipay.com because of the difficulty in setting up an overseas account.

BTW - Payment solution I'm looking for is for online payment from China to New Zealand.

Thanks again.

I think "alipay" and "China unionpay" would both be nice choices to pay from China. :)

Have a nice day,
