It's probably not my place here on WHT to say this, but I am getting tired of so many templates being posted that look like total crap and I know they will never sell but they just hog up the boards.
My opinion is that there should be a forum just for templates and each template is SCREENED before being posted. Sure its a lot of work, but I'm sure there will be a few volunteers to help clean up this mess.
This idea is probably crap to all of you but I just wanted to get this off my chest.
Thank you and goot night :homer:

A separate forum for templates seems like a good idea.
But, I don't think a screening process would work well.
Then you'd only have templates that the "screeners" liked.

How about a subforum in the related offers :)
Put templates in there, etc..

Adding forums, especially advertising forums, is something that everyone seems to suggest, however there are already almost too many forums at the moment (I judge this by how many posts are posted in the wrong forum).
I also don't think I like the idea of judging web design and allowing only approved threads to be posted. Are some designs (how to say this nicely) not the best? Yes, however there have been many tempates posted that I personally wouldn't have ever bought for even $5 which have sold for more. Obviously *someone* liked it and wanted it, so that's okie by me.

What would be next? Not allowing hosts to post in the offers forum if they didn't meat Raja's approval?

but anyway. i got sick of the templates months/years ago, so just ignore them by now. not to mention the logos which look like they took 15 seconds to make in microsoft paint. :o

Sorry I was having a bad morning. ;) I have seen Raja constantly talk down to people on the forums, and it upsets me a little.

hmm... not exactly sure if you have noticed this... but the name of this community is WebHostingTalk. :D I particularly have no expectations as to the design-related work that show up frequently within the advertising forums; however, considering that there are couple of graphics-specific forums out there that hold splendid contests and show excellent graphical talent where you can sell your templates... my vote would be to leave the size of the advertising forum (as I think it is big enough already) alone ;)
