- and last but not least, install opensource scripts for clients, cpskins.com autoinstaller and fantastico don't install all popular scripts

I am willing to pay higher, or accept lower disk/bandwidth allocations for additional services.

I have researched innohosting, adakist, warmwebhost, and webkore.

Any other suggestions?

I think you're better contact a local web development company who also offer reseller hosting service.
Another option is visit hostvoice.com to request a quote to see if any hosting providers can accommodate your request ;)

While your requirements seem reasonable, it looks like your customers will require a lot of hand-holding (installing software, etc..) which many hosts offering end-user support may not offer, although you may be able to find a reseller provider that will be glad to offer this kind of assistance to your end-users.

Is installing 3rd party scripts something that you may be able to do, as this would also allow you to be more flexible with the requirements for potential hosts you may look into.

This is going to be your main problem with finding a reseller. Installing scripts for free for your clients can take considerable amount of time relative to other tasks.

You should hire someone to do this separate for you because quite frankly... I would consider it a waste of resources for the host to do this. (IMO).

Just starting into webhosting, it is difficult to hire someone in the beginning.

I was primarily thinking of a webmaster type client who is interested in using opensource cms and forums scripts to make managing content easier.

After detailed live chat with adakist and webkore.net, I have found that as long as requests aren't urgent (for example, 48 hours) and the scripts are standard opensource scripts that are not available in fantastico, support may be able to install it.

I found adakist and webkore.net's end-user support very supportive for non-urgent requests.

However, it is something that can differentiate you from other providers. Offer it, even if not on a 24/7 schedule as your support, and provide it either yourself, or, as Rameen said, hire/partner/rent the services of someone who can do it professionally.

support may be able to install it. Sounds a bit vague and unreliable if those were their exact words. Clear details would be needed, so that you know what you can sell to your own customers. A list of "supported" applications would be what you need. No one can possibly support everything anyway.

Not sure about #1 (end user support), but PowerVPS has installed software on my VPS at a very reasonable charge .. albeit, and properly so, with a caveat that they will not be responsible for supporting the software.
