It took them 24hours to set up my account. When you sign up, there is even no confirmation email and no billing receipt. Every night their server experiences some problem and your site will not be accessible. When you run into some problem, their support stuff first assume you a newbie and tell you to learn something before asking question. I must say this is the worst server I've ever found. Well if someone emailed support and *was* a newbie, a part of supports responsibility is to teach people. Not only does it help the user, but it cuts down on future support issues as you develop more technically inclined customers. Support answers should follow a simple pattern. - Acknowledge the request as soon as possible - Answer the question asap if not instantly - Explain the answer as much as possible - If applicable, point the user to more information online as well. - Above all, use courtesy and honesty. After all, these people are paying you to provide them with a service. The least they deserve is your time and consideration. Now that's common sense to most people. It's amazing how often you hear about one line answers to support questions, or straight out rudeness. Hell, I even cancelled a spammer once using please, thankyou, and best regards :) Greg Moore |
