I am getting a computer made for me, and there are a few decisions that I cant seem to make.

1: Athlon XP 1800 or 1900+ or p4 1.8A overclocked to 2Ghz+ (I'd make sure it was dead stable)

2: what kind of monitor. 17" CRT is what I want, but beyond that I have no clue. I just want a run of the mill monitor that works well.

3: How should I get it sent to me.

Maker is in USA, I am in Canada. Airmail? parcel post? UPS? help?

I'd personally go for the Athlon, but that's just my preference. As for monitors, just do yourself a favor and don't even look at the really high end ones...once I looked at monitors that cost more than my car is worth, everything in my price range looked small and crappy.

Stear clear of UPS. They are hella lame (here at least) about saying they tried to deliver things when they didn't, then bouncing your precious computer around in the truck for 4 days for no reason...

Fedex is probably a good choice. I've never had a problem with them.
