What is a Reliable Windows hosting Company.
Like 24x7 Telephone Tech,
Run by a company not a person.
There are so many *nix hostin companies, but not that many windows.
Can anyone reccommend a host.
thanks in advance.

I recall a similar question being asked not long ago. Try doing a search of the forums.
Good luck.

I have been looking at these people. http://www.sys3internet.net/hosting.asp
Everything looks good to me, I see they are not just a webhost and are fairly local to me. The server is also located on an NTL fibre near. The only worry is unlimited webspace but I can live with that because all traces show that they are legit.

We since I can not promote myself ( I am windows host ) I will state that Rochen is the only Windows host that has my respect on the level of quality to his clients.
Besides that, why are there so few of us win hosting companies. Easy answers:
a) 3 times as much time spent maintaining the platform
b) we can only fit about 30% of what a unix platform can fit per server IE: win host can safely fit 100 domains ( active ) on a basic server, unix host can easily place 300 on the same server. I have seen rumors of unix people placing 500 active domains into servers. I know 1 host that has 780 active clients ( 1000 domains total ) and has it on 2 unix servers.
c) unix has a lower entry cost. your basic unix server with all the bells and wistles cost only about 200 a month. Same server but for windows would be about 400 per month
d) same as above for software.

It is this reason I don't develop in ASP as much. I would get my own dedicated if I could.

I can get you a cheap colo for a windows box if you are that desperate to use windows OS?
Or I can make you a custom package. Just email me at my personal account

I don't know any of the suggestions, but I do know the guys I primarily use and like are Sectorlink (www.sectorlink.com) . They offer 24x7 phone support on the higher-priced accounts but their email-only support is extremely fast as well for email support (never more than 45 minutes), so you may want to use their budget accounts as well.
