View Full Version : Looking to sell my clients/hosting business

insanelymacintosh

I was thinking about selling off my small list of clients and get out of the hosting business all together.

Here is what I have to sell

clients / monthly price
1 - $9.95
1 - $7.95
1 - $7.49
8 - $4.95
8 - $5.95
1 - $4.60
1 - $4.55
1 - $4.50
1 - $4.35
1 - $3.60
2 - $3.00

(Please note that I give a discount if they pay 3 month, 6 month, or yearly - check out my website)

and I also have about 70 clients that are paying $20.00 dollars a year for basic web hosting which includes 1GB space/ 5GB bandwidth

Also have about 10+ domain names at $14.95 per year renewal fee.

Also two SSL certs at $34.95 per year.

My support is all email, so if you offer that or better you should be okay.

Both my servers are Linux Redhat running CPanel 11. You can check out my website at http://www.kingshosting.com/

Please PM me if interested. Not too sure what to ask. Would like to sell all the hosting accounts / other products together.

Could you provide details on disk usage and bandwidth?

Hello,

How much are you willing to sell your customers for?

Do your customers know about being sold and are they okay with this? Are they likely to stay?

Are they happy with moving servers?

Thanks

The one client paying $9.95 per month uses 5 GB web space / 40 GB bandwidth

One client paying $7.95 per month uses 2.5 GB diskspace / 20 GB bandwidth

One client paying $7.49 per month uses 2.5 GB diskspace / 20 GB bandwidth

The rest are on 1 GB of diskspace / 5GB of bandwidth.

And to answer sean0r's question. I will work with you / my clients to make sure the move goes smoothly. I can get them to change their DNS settings. I will email them to let them know of the move, we shouldn't have any problems with that reguard.

I just recounted the number of clients paying $20 dollars per year, I have 72 clients paying $20 dollars per year for 1 GB of diskspace and 5GB of bandwidth.

After looking at some of the other post on here it looks like people like to bid for these things.

I would like to start the bid at $500 dollars for everything I have.

I would like to start the bid at $500 dollars for everything I have.

Since this turned into an auction:

Auctions must be conducted under the following guidelines.

If you are selling:

1. If you have a reserve, start the bidding at your reserved price.
2. Clearly post an end date and time expressed in GMT.
3. State accepted payment methods.
4. If an auction is not exclusive to WHT, you must display the URL(s) within the thread.
5. End the auction at the end date and time you stated. Or when the "Buy It Now" price is reached, if you listed one.
6. Transfer ownership to the winner.

Since this turned into an auction:

Okay. I would like to Start the bid at $500 dollars. The auction is for the hosting clients, 12 domain names, and the two SSL certs.

I will be willing to help in any way I can to make the move to your servers easy. The billing software is a custom billing software that I created using PHP that is integrated into CPanel. Also, the control panel my clients currently use is CPanel with a different template that I created myself from scratch. I would not recommend using my billing software as it was made by me and is really not a click and install commercial type of app. You will be better to import them into your current billing software.

All the clients together currently use on avg 60GB of bandwidth per month.

The operating system and all clients take up 84 GB of hard drive space.

The backup drive is currently at 80GB (second hard drive in the server)

Please PM me or post here if you have any other questions.

The bid will end on June 23, 2007 at Midnight. The BIN price is $2500 dollars.
I can take a check, money order, Visa, or Mastercard. Will be willing to take part of the final bid via Paypal.

I never recieved an e-mail regarding the sale.

In regard to discussing this over AIM, I would do so, but I suffered a HDD failure a week ago, and I'm waiting for my new HDD to arrive in the mail. If you have no objection, I could have an acquaintance of mine contact you over AIM.

07-11-2007, 05:39 PM
You can have your acquaintance contact me over AIM and we can get your account info. Due to security reasons I cannot discuss and should not discuss accounts here and if you didn't receive an email thats most likely due to us not having your contact info.

And I understand why you can't divulge information over the forums. Pity, I don't have access to the boards PM system, we could've cleared this up in no time. The board owner and his admin team have this restriction in place for good reason, and I'll abide by that.
