A few ramblings, and a request for beta testers...

I currently have telephone monitoring for QWK.Mon in a very Alpha-test state. It's something I don't think any other monitoring service is offering, though - that is, phone-based access to check the status of your servers. There are times I would have found it very useful, when away from a computer or out of pager range.

I think it will also be feasible to implement some kind of response, like posting to a form somewhere. At QWK.Net, our servers are all hooked up to APC remote power switches, so with the proper form post hooked up to a phone system, I could call in to respond to a down server report and power-cycle the system right then and there. I think it would be an understatement to say that this seems like a useful feature to offer others for their systems.

Anyway, if anybody is interested in beta testing this as it's developed, please let me know. If you haven't already signed up for QWK.Mon, do so, and then mail me with your userid.

I would be more than happy to BETA test for you. Your current monitoring system is great, so I'm sure this will be a well-done addition. Please contact me if you would like me to test.
