Hi,

I was wondering what the current word is on Pwebtech? I'd appreciate any feedback, either here, or through PM or email.

Thanks,
-Bob

Where did you send that sales enquiry to?

sales@pwebtech.com?

Their site seems to come up ok for me.(?)

Anyhow, I'd highly recommend them. Good network, good responsiveness, good pricing, they've been around for awhile, so they're not some fly by night operation like some places that come and go through this very forum. Ed has always been responsive to our sales inquiries since the beginning, so not sure what's happened there, but I would suggest just resending the email. It's worth it.

1 - Their site is broken, and has been for a while
Works fine for me

2 - I haven't yet gotten a reply to a sales inquiry sent in on the 9th
Sounds strange, they are normally pretty good at answering sales/support mails.

We have several boxes with Pwebtech and are very happy, you won't be unhappy if you choose them.

I'll chrup in also :D.

We have a box at Pegasus and so far it's been very good. Support response times have been very quick. The network has been extremely good.

Quite strange with your e-mail. I ususally have no problems getting a hold of them.

I manage a very high volume site on the server there. If you'd like more details, feel free to PM or IM me.

Try clicking on "Order" from here (http://www.pwebtech.com/linux_config.html) -- I think that's the problem that he's referring to.

Ah, I see. Quotes from sales are better anyway, given the constant fluctuations in hardware pricing. :)

pWebTech have been great to us. Jay specially have helped us a lot. The speed to the servers are out of this world and they have a very reliable network with quality providers. You can't go wrong with pWebTech.

:agree: Thumbs UP! :agree:

PS. Annette, congrats on your 4-digit post count. :D

Hi,

Shortly after making the original post, Jason himself gave me a call, but I unfortunately had one foot out the door and wasn't able to speak with him.

As for the "broken site", please excuse me, as I'm in major dumbass mode this evening and am having trouble choosing my words for some reason (not just in this thread). Obviously, the whole site isn't broken; I was referring to the broken links.

Thanks one and all for the responses, I appreciate it :)

That is correct, we have blocked certain ips to our website (not network) in the 202 range due to very high fraud rates from the ips and that area of the county.

Hate to sound like a bitch but I requested a drive upgrade days ago and never got a response. :(

Other than that, fast network, good uptime, all the usual stuff...

I have one box with them - everything is cool and the network is good. Just don't expect fast responses to non-critical stuff.
