View Full Version : Stargate Over Namecheap, Anytime!

In the past, I thought Namecheap was one of the best registrars. It was only when I decided to try out another registrar, did I realise how slow their email responses were! The feeling is worst when one needed urgent assistance

And thanks to the members here who shared their views on the various domain registrars, I decided to try out Stargate despite feedbacks mentioned that they have an unfriendly control panel.

I must say I do not regret switching over to Stargate. I encountered some hiccups in transferring my domain over from Namecheap. And for the whole week, Stargate's Katie Santangel never fail to reply promptly with her patience in assuring a smooth transfer :agree:

As for their said to be unfriendly control panel, I did not feel it was much of an issue. It didn't take me long to get familiar with it.

Just want to share, the said to be best may not seemed to be. Most important is, do give others a chance to display their excellent support as well.

Stargate, you have done a great job in making your customers happy and satisfied!

Interesting, we've been looking into Domain Registrars, and I guess I'll have to add this one to the list. :)

Their main site is at http://www.stargate.com

If registering/transferring domains, can refer to http://www2.stargate.com/

:D It means alot if there's more than one domain to transfer over. I understand they have pretty good reseller package too. Otherwise, can always contact Stargate to discuss further. I believe they would be flexible.

Perhaps after Stargate read our posts, they would consider reviewing their prices for new domain registrations :P

If you search the Domain Sales Forum here on WHT, you will find the link where they are offering reseller accounts with no deposit and $6.95 registrations. Afaik, this offer is still valid, and StarGate don't really care if you use their reseller features or not. It's a good price.

I've been using them for several months and so far haven't had any problems. Their support is pretty good, usually I get a reply within 12 hours.

Good price and good support.

I've been with them since October 2006 and have had no problem with Control panel or transfers in and out.... :)

Forgot to mention the control panel. Although at first its a bit confusing and pretty ugly but once you work with it for several hours its pretty easy to use.
