Doing research on setting up a WAFS (Wide Area File System). Looking at Availl and iShare.

In particular I have a scenario where a client consists of 25 laptop users/travellers. Would like to use a datacenter hosted fileserver. Big problem is latency.

Most of the WAFS solutions focus on reducing latency with server to server data mirroring (over WAN), but what about laptop to server (over WAN) latency? iShare has a product called Mobiliti. Has anyone tried it?

Any thoughts? experiences? Thanks!

Well, i don't know anything about the others but I can tell you that ishare is a good solution. I haven't experienced any problems with it.
