I created this thread to get some opinion/advice regarding a Windows-only (shared & dedicated) hosting company exploring the world of Linux hosting. Do you suggest getting involved in both markets? I've had experience with Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD so that's not the issue. Its not me that is trying to get more information. The issue is trying to gain more information for the higher-ups to look into the possibility of Linux hosting. I'm gathering input to provide with the proposal I plan on creating for the company. The idea/plan (I thought of) is to set a test server with most likely cPanel, market the idea and see where it goes. My main concern is getting approval to do so which is why I'm here. Any advice both positive and negative are appreciated in this venture. Keep in mind, the server would be owned already and hosted within the company's DC so there's no need to go into mentioning a dedicated box, etc.

Please advise.
