Currently i am spending around 6 months starting a new WebHosting business up with a difference, however thats a different story.

Currently i was thinking of the name zxhost and i have the domain zxhost.co.uk

1/ Do you think this name will make the company look professional?
2/ If not why?
3/ Any ideas its a UK based hosting service, the type of name i would like is something that does not have a dictionary word for example "tripid" however still something unique and professional.

Something like "ekhost.co.uk"?

EV1Servers was a pretty bad name, but they got them acquired by Planet.

What matters most is service, support and an equally important factor - design. Your name sounds okay though.

Try to come up with a name which has a meaning in it. Do you know what the ZX stand for or mean in your business model?

I dont know about you but try to think of a name that doesn't have the word host, servers, shared, dedicated, network, or something along those lines.

For example look at the names such as A small orange, Wired Tree, Toqen, Ezzi, etc.

I would have to agree with Anantha. Way too many *hosts out there. Not that zxhost is a bad name, but how is it different from axhost, bxhost, cxhost, etc.?

I have quite a good slogan/design for the ZX part of the domain name and i think it could work.

Also i know there are lots of hosts out there that have *host, which is why i have got *vps and such as i am aiming to make my products unique.
