Registrars like GoDaddy provide lower pricing on bulk domain orders, but one thing I'm not sure about is, does the discount apply for all domains bought at once or in a specific time?

For example, if I want to buy 200+ domains @ $6.65 rate, do I've to buy all 200+ domains at once or the domain order count lasts 24hrs and the appropriate discount rate is applied at the end of the day.

Like if I bought 50 domains in a day, I would be charged 6.75/domain and if I bought 101 the next day, I'd be charged $6.65. Does it work like this?

Thanks

Don't quote me on this but I think you have to buy them at once to get them at the bulk order pricing. I think the threshold is 20 or 25 to react the first bulk discount level. So you can not buy 10 in one day and buy 10 the next day hoping to get the bulk discount.

There are a lot of coupon codes floating around too that you can use in conjunction w/ bulk pricing.

Afaik, you have to buy them all at once. It'd be too complicated any other way.

OK. You buy the first 10 domains. What price are you charged? It's not in the registrars interest to charge you the bulk price because you might not buy any more. So you get charged full price. Then when you buy your last batch of domains. What price are you charged? It's way to complicated to add up all the domains you've bought at full price, calvulated the same at bulk prices, and then deduct the difference from your last checkout. The registrar has to keep track of the number of domains you've purchased in the last 24 hours. It's way too complicated for a registrar to operate like that.

Really reseller club shine in that. They remember and adjust prices. I have similar problems with name direct "mydomain.com" and trying tom manage what 210 domains have with them, 202 for bulk, and 8 for safety if i need move away some.

ResellerClub adjust prices if you buy domain in x time? Really? Is there a mention of it on their pages? Please link me.

EDIT: Are you referring to this:

# Set General Pricing, Discounting criteria and Special Pricing for Resellers and Customers per Product- You and your Resellers can set your base selling price, and then set separate volume based discounts for Resellers and Customers. That way, as Resellers do more business, their pricing automatically decreases without any manual intervention. Our system (OrderBox) will keep track of each Reseller's business volume and notify the Reseller when his pricing changes. Over and above this you and your Resellers can also offer special pricing to a particular Reseller or Customer.

# Customize parameters such as Money Back Guarantees, Grace Periods, Deletion charges- You and your Resellers can specify Money-back Guarantees and Grace Periods to your Customers and Resellers on a per Product basis. (Coming Soon!)

Great. Has anyone tried if it actually works?

Thanks

Check The Slabs links i put in this message.

I think is good use the logicbox canned solution for you, and if u get the registration later, and offer the 6.49 Price for people with 50 domains who stay here, you can get a easy margin quickly, and a bunch of domains.

I am now in second slab because i sell my third slab account, if u want i send you the Url of myorderbox I note when my price drop from 6.99 to 6.75 when o made a deposit of 22 USD some months ago.

If u create a slab 4 or 5, i want one reseller with u ASAP =P

Seek the text around "Our Slab-wise Domain Pricing "

Numbers: Initial deposit / com net org / info

base slab - 199 / 8.99 / 9.99
slab 1 - 499 / 6.99 / 7.49
slab 2 - 1499/ 6.75 / 7.25
slab 3 - 2999/ 6.49 / 6.99
slab 4 - 5999/ 6.49 / 6.75
slab 5 - 15999 6.49 / 6.49

Really The base 3 is easily to get.

So basically, you (the reseller) starts with say Slab 1, but your sales increases $499 Initial Deposit or Total Receipts (approx 70 domains) in a month, so you're moved to Slab 2 automatically? Thats what you're trying to say?

Yes, really works. If you put funds to 500 and only use 200, you get the slab of the current deposits you make. Put 1500 USD Plus Paypal commisions, and you get 222 Domains at 6.75 with extra accounts for your customers.

Edit yes you are moved automatiocaly to the rights slab... mydomain.com can use that ...

Its still not clear to me. Lets say:

1. I deposited 199 and went with their Slab 1 (199 Initial Deposit or Total Receipts - 20 domains)
2. But in only a few days, my sales increased beyond 20 domains, to say 72.
3. So I'm automatically upgraded to Slab 2 and all my domains PREVIOUS and NEW will be charged at the new Slab rate, i.e. 6.99?

Thanks

No, the domains will be charged at the price you have when you buy it.

Then you have 20 at 8.99 and rest at 6.99. if u noty use the price you put on, example, deposit 200 and 300 later, you get for all the unused the 500 slab price.

I normally sell slab 2 and 3 for few bucks in private transactions, because is free money for me. I Buy around 600 Domains for my customers bimonthly, and many of them are in Reseller Club.

By the eay, you can try the control panel with me or other reseller, and later, when you decide, push your domains to youir own account.

I have the idea some time ago for speak with a Big moderator Head here for get a reseller club with better prices for us. i think if have a known person back, easily can get the slab 5 in this same year.
